Description: Very ornamental variety, both when in blossom and when the tree hangs laden with bright orange red-striped fruit in October. Strong, rich, aromatic flavour. Very heavy cropper - thin in June to ensure good-sized fruit. Raised in 1840 in Barnack, Lincolnshire.
