Originated 1826 from Norfolk, UK

Description: Though to have arisen in Norfolk, this was first brought to light by R Adams who sent scion wood the the RHS in 1826. Medium sized fruit - yellow gold with an orange red flush and some slight russetting. Rich, aromatic 'nutty' flavour which was much prized by the Victorians. Medium-sized spreading growth.
